Case Study
A restrained sequence of water, reflection, and low-glare illumination for evening atmosphere.
Overview
Rather than making water and light feel showy, this project treated both as tools of atmosphere. The garden needed to become more usable and more memorable after sunset, without feeling over-lit or overly engineered.
Water and lighting were treated as atmosphere tools, not accessories.
Before
The property had usable square footage, but very little mood. After sunset, it became visually thin and hard to inhabit.
After
By treating water, light, and planting as one composition, the garden now holds attention quietly and becomes more expressive at dusk.
